Install IPTV Smarters Pro from the Amazon Appstore

On your Fire Stick home screen, open the Amazon Appstore (magnifying glass icon or the search bar at the top). Search for IPTV Smarters Pro and install it. No sideloading or developer options needed on most Fire Stick models.

App: IPTV Smarters Pro — Amazon Appstore

Open the app and choose login method

Launch IPTV Smarters Pro. On the login screen, tap "Login with Xtream Codes API". This gives you full EPG, catch-up TV, and automatic channel updates.

Enter your IPTV Forest credentials

Fill in the Name field with anything you like (e.g. "IPTV Forest"), then paste in your Server URL, Username, and Password from your activation email. Tap Add User.

💡 Tip: Use the Fire Stick on-screen keyboard or pair a Bluetooth keyboard to enter credentials faster

Wait for the channel list to load

The app fetches your full channel list from the IPTV Forest servers. This takes 30–90 seconds on the first load. Once complete, your 20,000+ channels, VOD library, and EPG guide are all available.

Start streaming

Browse by category, search for a channel, or open the EPG guide. Sports, movies, news, kids — everything is live and ready. Enjoy.

✓ Setup complete — typically under 3 minutes

What you need

  • Amazon Fire Stick (any generation) or Fire TV Cube
  • IPTV Forest trial or active subscription

Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro from the Play Store

Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV Box and search for TiviMate (recommended) or IPTV Smarters Pro. Both are free to install; TiviMate's advanced EPG and recording features require a one-time in-app upgrade.

App: TiviMate — Google Play Store

Add a playlist using Xtream Codes

Open TiviMate and tap Add Playlist → Xtream Codes. Enter your Server URL, Username, and Password from your IPTV Forest email. Tap Next.

Choose your channel categories

TiviMate will ask which categories to show. Select all or pick the ones you watch — Sports, Movies, News, Kids, etc. You can change this later in Settings.

Watch and set up EPG

The full channel list loads automatically. Your EPG (TV guide) populates within a few minutes from IPTV Forest's servers — no extra URL needed when using Xtream Codes login.

✓ Setup complete — TiviMate is the most popular IPTV player for Android TV boxes

What you need

  • Android TV Box (Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box, or similar)
  • Google Play Store access on the device
  • IPTV Forest trial or active subscription
  • Your activation email (server URL + credentials)

TiviMate vs IPTV Smarters

TiviMate has a cleaner TV-first interface and superior EPG with multi-day catch-up. It's the preferred choice for Android TV boxes. IPTV Smarters Pro is free, feature-rich, and works well if you prefer not to pay for TiviMate's premium tier.

M3U URLhttp://stream.iptvforest.com:port/get.php?...

Samsung and LG TVs use the M3U URL method. Your full M3U link is in your activation email.

Samsung Smart TV — Install Smart IPTV

On your Samsung TV, open the Samsung Apps Store and search for Smart IPTV (also listed as SIPTV). Install it. Note your TV's MAC address shown on the SIPTV launch screen — you'll need it in the next step.

💡 LG TV users: search for "SS IPTV" or "IPTV Smarters" in the LG Content Store instead

Activate your M3U playlist via the web panel

On a phone or computer, visit the activation page shown in the SIPTV app (typically siptv.app). Enter your TV's MAC address and paste in your IPTV Forest M3U URL from your email. Save and return to the TV.

Reload the app on your TV

Exit and reopen Smart IPTV on the TV. It will fetch your channel list automatically. The full IPTV Forest lineup loads in 1–2 minutes.

Start streaming

Navigate channels with your TV remote. Press the EPG button for the programme guide. For 4K streams, ensure your TV is connected via Ethernet or strong Wi-Fi (25 Mbps+).

✓ Alternatively: connect an Android TV Box or Fire Stick to any Smart TV for a smoother experience

What you need

  • Samsung, LG, or other Smart TV with an app store
  • IPTV Forest trial or active subscription
  • Your M3U playlist URL from the activation email
  • A phone or PC to complete the web activation step

Pro tip

For the best Smart TV experience — especially for 4K sports — plug in a Fire Stick 4K or Android TV Box (like the Xiaomi Mi Box) via HDMI. You'll get a faster, more capable player than any built-in TV app.

Common issues and
quick fixes

Most setup problems have a simple solution. Try these before contacting support.

Buffering or freezing during playback

Usually caused by a slow internet connection or congested Wi-Fi during peak hours. Test your connection speed — you need at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K.

Switch to a wired Ethernet connection if possible, or move your router closer to the streaming device. Premium server subscribers can also try a different server URL from your email.

"Authentication failed" or wrong password error

Your credentials are case-sensitive. Make sure you're copying the server URL, username, and password exactly as they appear in your IPTV Forest activation email.

Double-check for extra spaces before or after the values. If you're typing manually on a TV remote, copy from a phone or PC browser to avoid typos. Contact support to reset your password if needed.

Channels not loading or playlist empty

This usually means the app couldn't connect to the server, or your trial/subscription has expired.

Check that your subscription is active in your email confirmation. Try closing and reopening the app. If using M3U, regenerate a fresh M3U URL by contacting support — URLs can expire if your account credentials changed.

No EPG / TV guide showing

If you logged in with Xtream Codes, EPG should load automatically within a few minutes. If it's still blank after 5–10 minutes, the app may need a manual refresh.

In your player app, go to Settings → EPG / XMLTV and tap Refresh or Update. For M3U setups, make sure you've entered the separate EPG URL from your email alongside the M3U playlist URL.

App crashes or won't open

Outdated app versions can cause crashes, especially after a device OS update.

Check for an app update in your app store. If no update is available, uninstall and reinstall the app. Your credentials are saved in the app — you'll need to re-enter them after reinstalling.

Video plays but no audio

Audio codec compatibility can vary by player and device. Some channels use audio formats that require a specific decoder.

In VLC, go to Audio → Audio Track and try switching tracks. In other players, check if "Hardware Decoding" (HW+ or HW) is enabled in settings — sometimes switching between software and hardware decoding resolves audio issues.

How to Set Up IPTV Forest on Any Device

This page covers the complete IPTV Forest setup process for every major device and operating system. Whether you're installing on a Fire Stick, Android TV Box, Smart TV, iPhone, or PC, the process follows the same core steps: get your credentials from the activation email, choose a compatible IPTV player app, and log in using Xtream Codes API.

Xtream Codes vs M3U — which should you use?

Xtream Codes API login is recommended for most devices. It's the most reliable connection method and automatically provides EPG (TV guide), catch-up TV, and VOD alongside live channels — all within a single login. M3U playlist URLs are supported as an alternative and work well in apps like VLC and Smart IPTV for Samsung and LG TVs, but don't include EPG or VOD as automatically. Both login methods are included in your IPTV Forest activation email.

Which app should I use for IPTV Forest?

The right app depends on your device. IPTV Smarters Pro is the most cross-platform option, available on Fire Stick (Amazon Appstore), Android (Google Play), iPhone/iPad (App Store), and Windows (Microsoft Store). TiviMate is the best choice for Android TV boxes but is Android-only. GSE Smart IPTV is recommended for iPhone and iPad. VLC is the easiest solution for PC and Mac.

How long does IPTV Forest setup take?

Most people complete setup in 3–5 minutes from the point of activating their trial. The steps are: install the app from your device's app store, open it, choose Xtream Codes login, paste in three fields (URL, username, password), and wait 30–90 seconds for the channel list to load. There are no settings to configure, no m3u files to download manually, and no developer mode required on any current device when using Xtream Codes.

Do I need to sideload any apps for IPTV Forest?

No sideloading is required. IPTV Smarters Pro is available directly from the Amazon Appstore on Fire Stick, covering the vast majority of Fire Stick users. On Android devices, the app is on Google Play. On iPhone/iPad, GSE Smart IPTV and IPTV Smarters Pro are both on the Apple App Store. If your specific device requires sideloading, our support team can walk you through the process.

Questions about
getting started

It depends on your device. IPTV Smarters Pro works on Fire Stick (Amazon Appstore), Android phones, and Android TV boxes. TiviMate is a popular alternative for Android TV devices. VLC works on Windows and Mac. For iPhone and iPad, use GSE Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters from the Apple App Store.
After activating your trial or purchasing a plan, IPTV Forest sends your Xtream Codes credentials — server URL, username, and password — to your email. If you can't find them, check your spam folder or contact support at support@iptvforest.com.
Yes. IPTV Forest supports both Xtream Codes API login (recommended) and M3U playlist URL import. Xtream Codes provides a better experience with EPG, catch-up TV, and automatic updates. M3U is useful as a fallback for apps that don't support Xtream Codes, such as VLC or Smart IPTV for Samsung TVs.
Yes, depending on how many connections your plan includes. A 1-connection plan supports one active stream at a time. Plans with 2–5 connections let that many devices stream simultaneously using the same account credentials.
If you're using Xtream Codes login, the EPG loads automatically from IPTV Forest's servers — no extra steps needed. For M3U setups, your EPG URL is included in the credentials email. Paste it into the EPG/XMLTV field inside your player app and refresh.
No. IPTV Smarters Pro is available directly from the Amazon Appstore on most Fire Stick models — no developer mode, no sideloading, no third-party downloaders needed. Simply search for it in the Appstore and install it like any other app.
